Oceanville Crowned Prestige Real Estate T30 A League Champions

Oceanville Cricket Club has been crowned Prestige Real Estate T30 A League Champions, after a dominant 31-run victory over Dawnheights in the highly anticipated final held on 22 March 2025 at the Gledhow Cricket Grounds.

Oceanville delivered exceptional performances with both bat and ball throughout the season, culminating in their well-deserved championship win. In the final, Dawnheights were dismissed for 128 runs, handing Oceanville a decisive 31-run victory and securing the title for the 2024/2025 annual Prestige Real Estate cricket league.

Oceanville’s captain, Mr C. Pillay, expressed his joy and pride in the team’s effort, attributing the victory to their commitment and resilience throughout the season.

The team’s triumph was recognised at the KZN Cricket Union Annual Awards on 16 May 2025, held at the stunning Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom. The awards presentation was made by Mrs B. Mbhele, Vice President of KwaZulu-Natal Cricket Union. In attendance were Mr D. Pillay, President of the Ilembe Cricket District; Mr R. Ramsing, President of Oceanville Cricket Club; Mr C. Pillay, Captain of Oceanville; and Mr J. Haripershad, Director of Prestige Real Estate.

The event was a fantastic gathering, uniting the cricket community to celebrate excellence on and off the field.
